The Interactive Metronome® (IM) Difference

Empowering recovery, enhancing performance, and supporting families

IM is not the only part of the wellness and recovery journey, but it is an important foundational piece.

As an Occupational Therapist, I have seen firsthand how this fun ‘interactive’ computer based program can be transformative in the recovery process.

I am passionate about making sure everyone has access to it. From the mom who feels she has run out of options on how to support her child, to the athlete who wants to elevate  their performance, and everyone in between.

With Interactive Metronome, individuals experience not just improvements, but remarkable transformations in their cognitive and physical abilities.

Hi, I’m Jocelyn!

Occupational Therapist &
Interactive Metronome Practitioner

My interest in Occupational Therapy as a career was ignited when my twin sister became a paraplegic at 20 years old.

During a rehab session where she fought to sit upright on the edge of the bed, clinging with determination, I watched as the OT guiding her towards her independence. Witnessing her journey was when I truly embraced the idea of becoming an OT.

I didn’t know it at the time, but it was the idea of partnering with people to become the best version of themselves that was so appealing to me. I felt then and there that this was the perfect career for me.

Growing up, my dad’s relentless pursuit of improvement often drove me crazy. But as an adult, I’ve come to appreciate and embrace that trait. Now, I’m constantly seeking new knowledge and innovative approaches to better serve the people I work with.

With 23 years of experience in areas ranging from pediatrics to orthopedics, inpatient to community mental health or Home Care and with Veterans Affairs Canada, I’ve been dedicated to empowering individuals with the essential “skills for the job of living.”

I learned about Interactive Metronome® Therapy from Dr. Lees, a Chiropractor and IM Practitioner in my community. His enthusiasm for its impact on child outcomes struck a deep chord. Undergoing the training, I experienced a profound sense of purpose, similar to the feeling I had when witnessing an OT’s impact during my sister’s rehab. It was a moment of clarity.

This is exactly what I am meant to do!
